Langguth is supporting the “SimRaceX” race simulator project of the Rudolf-Diesel-Fachschule Nuremberg.
The „SimRaceX“ project is about a moving race simulator which, thanks to its fluid motion, is meant to make the driver feel as if racing in a real car. The process, which also simulates the G-forces, is realized with two 24V worm gear motors . As in a real race, the driver feels pushed towards the steering wheel by the centrifugal force when, for example, he uses the brake.
When Mr. Philipp Ninchritz, future mechatronics technician studying at the Rudolf-Diesel Technical School, asked us to be part of the project, we were very happy to help. Thanks to the experience of our Langguth designers, the two previously damaged DC worm gears with plastic worm wheels were replaced by higher-quality Langguth worm drives with worm wheels of a high-end alloy.

We are very impressed by the work and creativity of the smart, future mechatronics technicians Philipp Ninchritz, Moritz Bollmann and Noah Schleißing. Congratulations on the excellent result and our very best wishes for your professional future.
