Revocation of consent for data processing

Right to data portability

Your have the right to request submission of data we automatically process on the basis of your consent or the fulfillment of an agreement to yourself or to third parties in a standard, machine-readable format. SSL or TLS encryption

For reasons of safety and to protect the transmission of confidential data such as orders or inquiries which you send to us as the website owners, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. A connection is encrypted, when the browser address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and supplements the line with the key symbol.

• If you dispute the accuracy of the personal data we store, we need time to check your plea. You are entitled to request restriction of personal data processing for the duration of that time.
• If your personal data were/are wrongfully processed, you may request restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
• If we no longer need your personal data but you do for reasons of execution, defense or processing of legal claims, you are entitled to request restriction of processing instead of deletion of your personal data.
• If you have filed an objection as set forth in art. 21 par. 1 DSGVO, we must carefully consider whose interests prevail. During the consideration period, you are entitled to request restriction of personal data processing.

4. Analysis tools and advertisement

Google Analytics

This website uses functions provided by the Google Analytics web analysis service. Provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, dwell time, operating systems used and the origin of the user. This data may be combined by Google in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or his end device.

IP anonymization

Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Order processing

We have executed an agreement with Google and implement all regulations set forth by the German Data Protection authorities when we use Google Analytics.

Storage period

Data stored at Google at the user and event levels and which are linked to cookies, user identifications (e.g. User ID) or advertisement Ids (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android Ad ID) are anonymized or deleted after 14 months. 5. Plugins and tools

YouTube with extended data protection

This website includes videos from YouTube. Provider of these sites is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in the extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode prevents YouTube from storing user information on the website before they watch the video. The forwarding of data to YouTube partners, however, cannot be completely excluded by the extended data protection mode. YouTube, for example, connects to the Google DoubleClick network whether you watch a video or not.

A connection to the YouTube servers is established as soon as you start a YouTube video on our website. The YouTube server is informed on which pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube may furthermore store various cookies on your end device when you start a video, or use comparable identification technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). This allows YouTube to obtain information on website visitors. Such information is, for example, used to generate video statistics, to optimize user friendliness and to prevent attempted fraud.

Google Web Fonts

For the uniform presentation of fonts, this site uses so-called Web Fonts which are provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and typeface correctly.

For this purpose, your browser needs to connect to the Google servers which informs Google that our website was opened via your IP address. The use of Google WebFonts bases on art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the typeface on his website. 6. Our social media appearances

Data processing through social networks

We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. Please see below for the specific social networks we use.

Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. can generally comprehensively analyze your user behavior when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media sites triggers numerous data protection-related processing processes. Specifically:

If you are logged in to your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your end device or by recording your IP address.

With the data collected in such a way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. Interest-based advertising can be displayed inside and outside the respective social media presence. Legal basis

Our social media sites are designed to ensure the widest possible presence on the Internet. This
represents a justified interest in accordance with art. 6 par. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal bases, which must be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of art. 6 (1) a DSGVO).

Entity responsible and assertion of rights

If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we and the operator are jointly responsible for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can exercise your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both against us as well as against the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. Facebook).

Please note that, despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of the social media portals. Our options are based on the company policy of the respective provider.

Storage period

The data collected directly by us via the social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for their storage ceases to exist, you request us to delete it, you revoke your consent to the storage or the purpose for the data storage ceases to exist. Once stored, the cookies remain saved to the end device until you delete them. Mandatory provisions – especially storage periods – remain unaffected.

We have no influence on the storage period of data stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).

7. Own services

Handling applicant data

You have the opportunity to apply for a job with us (e.g. via email, by postal service or via online application form). The following informs you on the scope, purpose and use of the personal data we acquire within the framework of the application process. We assure you that the acquisition, processing and use of your data complies with the applicable data protection law and all further legal provisions and that they will be treated strictly confidential.

Scope and purpose of data acquisition

When you send us your application, we process the respective personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during the interview etc.) as far as necessary for the decision in favor of an employment relationship. Legal basis hereto is § 26 BDSG-new in accordance with German law (initiation of an employment relationship), art. 6 par. 1 lit. b DSGVO (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – art. 6 par. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You may revoke your consent at any time. Within our company, your personal data will be forwarded exclusively to those who participate in processing your application.

If your application is successful, the data provided by you on the basis of §26 BDSG-new and art. 6 par. 1 lit. b DSGVO will be stored with us for the purpose of executing the employment relationship.

Data storage period

If we cannot offer you a job, if you refuse a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to collect the data you provide on the basis of our legitimate interests (art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data is then deleted and the physical application documents are destroyed. The storage serves, in particular, as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it becomes clear that storage data beyond the storage period of 6 months will be necessary (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), deletion will be carried out only after the data have become irrelevant.

A longer storage period may also take place if you have given your consent (art. 6 para.1 lit. a DSGVO) or if statutory retention obligations preclude deletion.
